A Quick Note on Design

We want to be upfront: we aren't completely sold on this visual styling yet, but it's a solid, functional working version while we build out the core tools and verify the scoring. We'll be refining the look and feel as we go.

Over the past few weeks, we've focused on getting the foundational pieces of Deep Bench working with real league data. Here's a look at what's currently up and running.

1. Rotisserie Standings & Custom Scoring

We've built out full rotisserie standings that support custom category rules, standard tied-rank calculations (1-2-2-4), and special balance formulas like Goalie Combos and Penalty Minute penalties.

2. Team Rosters & Bench Spots

Each franchise has a full view of their active starters (C, LW, RW, D, WC, DH, GOON, G), reserve benches (PBENCH, GBENCH), and prospect lists. Managers can flip through teams, filter by position, and see stats and injury tags at a glance.

3. Future Draft Picks & Trades

Deep Bench tracks draft picks across upcoming seasons (Waiver Round 1 and Draft Rounds 1–7 for 2027 and 2028). When picks are traded between teams, the ledger clearly shows who originally owned the pick and who currently holds it.

4. Daily Wire & Injury Updates

The platform automatically pulls daily NHL movements (call-ups, reassignments, waivers) and live injury reports, matching them directly to the players on your rosters.
